Try the new online career information system during North Idaho College Ponderay Center open house.

The community is invited to try the newest public access location for Idaho’s comprehensive online career information system during an open house at the North Idaho College Ponderay Center from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 20.

The open house event will feature a demonstration of the center’s new dedicated computer that is now available for use by community members for free onsite career exploration assessments through the Idaho Career Information System (CIS). The CIS online site is an excellent comprehensive resource for employment opportunities, higher education programs, financial aid and scholarships and other career related information.

Appetizers and refreshments will be available at the open house, which is sponsored by IdahoGoes. IdahoGoes is a partnership between the five higher education institutions in North Idaho, including North Idaho College and the Coeur d’Alene outreach centers for Lewis-Clark State College, University of Idaho, Boise State University and Idaho State University.

The NIC Ponderay Center is located in the Bonner Mall at 300 Bonner Mall Way in Ponderay. For more information, call (208) 263-4594.
