NIC Workforce Training Center offers online employee training courses

North Idaho College will now offer a multitude of online employee training courses for businesses.

The North Idaho College Workforce Training Center has partnered with ed2go to offer local businesses and their employees hundreds of online, instructor-facilitated training courses. 

Through training sessions offered each month, businesses can access employee training in subject areas ranging from computer applications to business administration.

“The quality of the courses, combined with the convenience, accessibility and price point, make these course offerings a great training value for businesses,” said Sherry Wallis, director of NIC’s Corporate Customized Training Department, which oversees the online training classes and offers a variety of other specialized training to meet business needs.

Sessions last six weeks and several new lessons are released weekly. The courses are entirely web-based and include comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments accessible from anywhere with an Internet connection. An instructor facilitates every session, offering assistance and leading discussions throughout the course.
