Saturday, September 25

Traditional German fare and local spirits, plus lots of family-friendly activities, can be found during the 5th annual Oktoberfest celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 in downtown Sandpoint.
Kids will find plenty of great attractions as Schweitzer Mountain Resort descends into downtown with their popular Power Tower Climbing Wall, plus there will be pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, trivia giveaways, an old-fashioned cake and pie walk, and much more!
For beer connoisseurs, a visit to the Bier Garten will find MickDuff’s serving up Irishmen Amber Ale, Strom Hammer IPA, and a light ale called The Session. Laughing Dog Brewing will feature their anniversary brew Clusterfugget (a red ale), as well as their Cream Ale, along with two more offerings.
Meanwhile, wine lovers will be pleased to discover Pend d’Oreille Winery pouring glasses of their mulled hot spiced wine again this year (guaranteed to warm up tummies during fall’s cooler weather), plus they’ll be serving up glasses of Bistro Blanc, Bistro Rouge and Huckleberry Blush.
And find German-inspired fare dished up by Trinity at City Beach, Spud’s Rotisserie & Grill, Joe’s Philly Cheesesteak and Evan’s Brothers Coffee while enjoying live music provided by the Swing Street Band, the Monarch Mountain Band and others! Plus don’t miss the action next door during the Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Farmin Park.
