Annual Harvest Dinner at MCC: Friday, November 12th @ 5:30 pm

The Hope Memorial Community Center would like to extend their appreciation to its many supporters by inviting them to the Annual Harvest Dinner at the Memorial Community Center in Hope.


The dinner will be Friday, November 12th, beginning at 5:30 pm for no-host beverages, complimentary appetizers by Pend Oreille Pasta, and fun-filled bucket raffles. At 7 pm a catered dinner from John & Val Albi of Pend Oreille Pasta will be served.


Tickets are $20 each, of which $2 will be donated to the Annual Christmas Giving Program.  Don’t’ forget to bring your non-perishable food items for the Christmas Giving Program on this evening.  Every guest who brings food items will receive a free bucket raffle ticket, and if you bring a CASE of canned food, then you will receive 6 free raffle tickets. 


Tickets are available at the Community Center during the business hours of Monday 8 am to 1 pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday 1 to 3 pm; or by calling the center at (208) 264-5481 to charge by phone.  The Center is located at the intersection of Highway 200 and Centennial Road in Hope.


The Memorial Community Center hosts a variety of programs and events serving our local communities.

  • The Pre-School program currently has 14 children enrolled and offers scholarships to families with need;
  • college scholarships are awarded each spring to outstanding local students;
  • a trio of Art Presentations each year spotlights the talents of local artists in various genres;
  • the Center is a venue for four Idaho Humanities Council events each year which are free to the public;
  • serves as the site for the Hope Community Market each summer;
  • Have several fundraising events such as the Bodacious BBQ and Tailgate Sales.
  • Newsletters are sent to over five hundred seventy families, and several clubs and groups meet monthly at the Center, such as:  Alcoholics Anonymous, Quilters, Scrappy Stampers, Garden Club, Zumba, Yoga, and others.
  • The Center is honored to coordinate an area-wide Christmas Giving Program for local families. Over fifty families and over 100 children last year received many boxes of food and gifts for the whole family wrapped and ready to delight on Christmas morning.
  • The Center is available for private rentals as well.
