January 31, 2011 The Montana Repertory Theatre presents William Inge's play "Bus Stop" in the Plains High School Gym.

     The National Tour of the Montana Repertory Theatre stops in Plains, Montana on Monday, January 31, 2011, 7pm to present "Bus Stop" by Pulitizer Prize winning playwright William Inge who also wrote "Picnic."  The company will transform the Plains High School Gym into a 1950's streetcorner restaurant/bus stop in Middle America.

     In the words from the Rep's website:  "In this warm and affecting comedy, William Inge examines the many faces of love.  As down-home characters interact in the restaurant/bus stop during the course of a hilariously turbulent night, extraordinary qualities are revealed in seemingly ordinary people."  The Rep has found William Inge to be a "font of insight, tenderness, soulful understanding, great heart, and rollicking, life-affirming humor."

     Adult tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Student tickets are $7.

     Ticket Outlets:  First Security Banks in Plains and Thompson Falls;  Garden Gift and Floral, and Honeysuckle Natural Foods, both in Plains;

     Quinn's Hot Springs Resort in Paradise, Montana (can use a credit card)  (406) 826-3150 or www.quinnshotsprings resort.
