Monica Huggett, co-founder and performer in the Annual Montana Baroque Music Festival, brings her trio from the United Kingdom. in March.

Monica Huggett has a faithful fan base in western Montana.  Fans are looking forward to hearing her in the eighth season of the Montana Baroque Festival in July.

But...

they don't have to wait that long. She is bringing her longest running and smallest group, Trio Sonnerie, for a very limited series of appearances in the United States.  One of those appearances will be March 24, 2011, 7:30 PM, University Congregational Church, 405 University Avenue, Missoula, Montana.  The presentation, called HARMONY OF NATIONS, will feature the choicest pick of Europe's chamber music from the Baroque period.  Headline numbers will be "Mystery Sonatas" by Heinrich Ignaz Biber, and a magnificent sonata for violin and harpsichord by JS Bach.  Works by Thomas Baltzar, John Jenkins, Tobias Hume, Johann Jakob Froberger, Georg Bohm, Marin Marais, and Antoine Forqueray will round out the program.

A minimum donation of $25 is appreciated.

Program sponsored by the Alex Morrison Family and Sanders County Arts Council (of Montana).  For information call Jean Morrison (406) 826-3600.
