Annual Harvest Dinner at the Memorial Community Center

Please join us at the Memorial Community Center located at 415 Wellington Place in Hope, on Friday, November 11th for the Annual Harvest Dinner.  The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a no-host bar, complimentary appetizers, and fun-filled bucket raffles. At 7 pm a catered dinner by Pend Oreille Pasta featuring a glazed roasted turkey, herb and apple stuffing, roasted garlic and parmesan mashed potatoes, homemade turkey gravy, toasted onion coated green beans, cranberry orange relish, rolls, and pumpkin trifle and traditional pumpkin pie will be served.

 

Are you a dedicated contributor?  New member to the Hope/Clark Fork area? Long-time resident? Out-of Towner?  Well, we want YOU!   We welcome you to come share in a night of Great Food, Fantastic Company, and lots of FUN!  Bring your family and friends!

 

Tickets are $20 each and are available at the Community Center during the business hours of Monday 8 am to 2 pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday 12:30 to 4 pm; or by calling the center at (208) 264-5481 to charge by phone.  The Center is located at the intersection of Highway 200 and Centennial Road in Hope.  $2 of every ticket will be donated to the Annual Christmas Giving Program.  Don’t’ forget to bring your non-perishable food items for the Christmas Giving Program on this evening.  Every guest who brings food items will receive a free bucket raffle ticket, and if you bring a CASE of canned food, then you will receive 6 free raffle tickets. 

 

The Memorial Community Center hosts a variety of programs and events serving our local communities.

  • The Pre-School program currently has 20 children enrolled and offers scholarships to families with need.
  • college scholarships are awarded each spring to outstanding local students;
  • a trio of Art Presentations each year spotlights the talents of local artists in various genres;
  • the Center is a venue for four Idaho Humanities Council events each year which are free to the public;
  • serves as the site for the Hope Community Market each summer;
  • Have several fundraising events such as the Bodacious BBQ and Tailgate Sales.
  • Monthly Newsletters are sent to our communities, and several clubs and groups meet monthly at the Center, such as:  Alcoholics Anonymous, Quilters, Scrappy Stampers, Hope Health Fitness, Yoga, and others.
  • The Center is honored to coordinate an area-wide Christmas Giving Program for local families. Over fifty families and over 100 children last year received many boxes of food and gifts for the whole family wrapped and ready to enjoy on Christmas morning.
  • The Center is available for private rentals as well.
