Affordable options to providing health care

On Friday, July 17th the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce offers a no-cost workshop to impart health benefit options for businesses on a shoestring budget.

A panel of speakers representing the health industry will discuss options.  Amy Lunde of Pend Oreille Insurance & Financial Services will discuss low-cost insurance options.  Nicole England from North Idaho Health Network will explain how to build a wellness program in a small business setting.  And Don Helander, owner of Sandpoint West Athletic Club, will discuss a business wellness benefit plan for all sizes of businesses and the importance of employee wellness for businesses.

“We have a variety of health care options in our community and region,” said executive director Amy Little.  “This workshop was designed to help our small businesses learn about a few affordable options, and we encourage businesses to explore the wealth of resources available in our area.”

The workshop is part of the TGIF workshop series presented by the Bonner Business Center and hosted by the Chamber’s Business Development committee.  The workshop will be held on the second floor of the Sand Creek Business Park located on Hwy. 95 in Ponderay from noon to 2 p.m., and there is no fee to attend.  This series is sponsored by MetLife Home Loans and Pend Oreille Insurance & Financial Services.
