On July 12, a tragic accident resulted in the death of two-year old Kaitlyn Price-Williams, and injuries to driver Ashlee Price and five-year-old passenger Tyson Ruel. According to Idaho State Police, Price’s vehicle went off the north shoulder of the highway, overcorrected, and overturned, dropping down a steep embankment and landing upside down in four-feet of water.

Ruel, who was resuscitated by passers-by at the scene who stopped to help, was transferred to Bonner General Hospital and then airlifted to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. He has since returned home.

Price was taken to Bonner General and has since been released.

A benefit account has been set up at Panhandle State Bank to help with the expenses incurred for Tyson Ruel. Donations may be made on his behalf to the Shelly Sutton Benefit Account – Sutton is Ruel’s mother.

An additional account, the Kaitlyn Lee Price-Williams benefit account, was also established at Panhandle State Bank to help Price with expenses due to the accident.
